Filtering Information

When you have a long collection of data you will find it useful to be able to filter and find specific information based on their field properties.

At the top of any view mode you can use the Filter to select which Fields you would like to see, and then you can use the conditional options equals , not equals , contains, not contains, in, not in to filter strings and if the data is numeric you can use also greater than, greater than or equal to, less than and less than or equal to.

You can set up as many filters as you need and you can filter data in any of the visualization modes.

Relative Dates

Relative date filters allow you to filter objects with rolling date values relative to the current date. These are useful when creating filters that updates automatically accordingly to the current date.

Today

The current day. For example, “give me all issues that the due date is less than today”.

Yesterday

The day before. For example, “give me all issues that the due date is less or equal to yesterday”.

Tomorrow

The day after. For example “give me all issues that the due date will be tomorrow”.

Past 7 days/Next 7 days

For example “give me all issues that the due date will be in the next 7 days/were in the past 7 days”

Past 30 days/Next 30 days

“Give me all issues that the due date will be in days the next 30 days/were in the past 30 days”

Last week/Next week

“Give me all issues that the due date will be in the next week/ were in the last week”

Last month/Next month

“Give me all issues that the due date will be in the next month/were in the last month”

Last Year/Next Year

“Give me all issues that the due date will be in the next year/were in the last year”
